The best leg workout depends on your goals and fitness level. Squats strengthen the quads, hamstrings, glutes, and lower back, improve overall leg and core strength, and help with balance and stability. The squat is one of the best exercises to tone legs. So you need to cover enough different exercises to stimulate the muscles. But that doesn't mean your leg workouts should be 2 hours long! A decent leg workout for beginners can be achieved in 45-60 minutes, including warmup and cool down. They will achieve decent results just by doing exercises, any more will be overkill. For someone who's been training a little while longer, you can add another exercise like a hack squat or barbell squat after the leg press. Now usually 3 to 4 sets of 10 will do the job. 3 exercises with enough intensity will be plenty. A 10-minute warmup on the treadmill.

You want to choose a range of movement patterns to build lean muscle mass. The deadlift remains the king of all back exercises. Deadlifts, pull-ups and rows (multiple variations of these may all be appropriate) will make your legs bigger. Making muscles huge is best achieved with 10–15 repetitions, rest periods of 3–5 minutes, and 5–10 sets per movement. Knee-to-chest stretch. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
