Are there any women gamers?

Since the 1990s, female gamers have commonly been regarded as a minority. However, industry surveys have shown that over time, the gender ratio has become closer to equal. As of December 2023, 48 percent of video gamers in the United States were female, with the remaining 52 percent of U.S. video gaming audiences male.
