Why should I exercise my feet?

According to a study by the American Journal of Epidemiology, jobs that require you on your feet all day long, for hours at a time, are more detrimental to your overall health than those that have you sitting most days, especially as it relates to your feet. Stretching and strengthening exercises can alleviate foot pain and discomfort, making them particularly useful for those with conditions such as plantar fasciitis or bunions. Foot exercises may also help to enhance blood circulation, which can have a positive impact on your overall cardiovascular health. Foot muscle strengthening, however, offers numerous benefits that extend beyond just your feet. Strong foot muscles can enhance your balance and stability, reducing the risk of falls and injuries, in addition to contributing to better overall posture.
