Fibre is important for our gut health for many reasons. Here are some ways to take care of your stomach: Eat a balanced diet. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, which are high in fiber and provide vitamins and minerals. Fiber helps build good bacteria and prevent constipation. You can also try eating fermented foods, like kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, and pickled ginger, which contain probiotics. Eat mindfully: Eat slowly, chew your food well, and don't overeat. You can try eating smaller portions or eating 4–5 small meals instead of 3 large ones. Avoid eating a big meal right before bed, and try to eat your last meal 2–3 hours before going to sleep. Drink water: Staying hydrated helps with digestion and can prevent nausea and cramping. You can try drinking more water throughout the day, especially if you have an upset stomach. Do not rush your food.
