Smiling is one of the most important facial expressions and can make you look younger. When you smile, the muscles in your face contract and release, which helps to tone your facial muscles. It also helps to improve your complexion by increasing blood flow to your face. Smiling is good for preventing wrinkles because it trains the muscles around the lips, mouth, and cheek. These aren't merely the markers of youthful skin but the appearance of your skin on happiness. Not only that but your skin's ability to repair and renew itself is enhanced. Overall, your skin looks healthy, radiant, and younger. While negative emotions can contribute to skin damage, positive emotions help improve it. Without a shadow of a doubt, smiling is not a cause for wrinkle formation. Some research suggests that smiling can prevent – or at least delay – wrinkle formation. The lesson here is to never stop smiling.
