There are several foot and toe pain problems. Freiberg's disease, Morton's neuroma, plantar plate problems, sesamoiditis, and tarsal tunnel syndrome. If they are diagnosed early, many of these painful conditions can be treated non-surgically, returning patients to their normal way of life as soon as possible. Overuse and Overtraining: Overtraining or suddenly increasing the intensity or duration of your workouts can strain the muscles, tendons, and ligaments in your feet, leading to pain and discomfort. A sore toe is often caused by exercising too much or wearing shoes that are too tight. Socks that are firm and comfortable. Providing compression and cushioning. Insoles that take the pressure off your heels and support your arches. A good workout mat, especially if you're exercising on concrete or other hard surfaces.
