Why do people like to hang around stores? I see people hanging out and not buying anything.

There's evidence to suggest that face-to-face contact can strengthen emotional closeness. Plus, hanging out has an appealingly low barrier of entry, and it's inexpensive: You don't need reservations or tickets or special skills. People may like to hang around stores for a variety of reasons including. Convenience: Some stores, like convenience stores, may be popular because they offer quick access to daily essentials. Busy people may value the time-saving benefit of purchasing items quickly, even if the prices are higher. Nutrition: Grocery stores may be destinations for health and well-being, as food retailers and manufacturers work with registered dietitians to provide good nutrition. Convenient Access to Daily Essentials: People visit convenience stores for quick and easy access to daily essentials. Advertising in these stores allows brands to position themselves as convenient solutions for consumers' immediate needs, creating a strong association between the brand and convenience.
