What it is like living in the town of Appalachia. Hey guys, my username on this website forum is Candy Williams, and I am from Wise County, VA. I live in a small town in Appalachia, Virginia. This town doesn't have a lot to offer and I am thinking about moving to a city. I would say it takes some getting used to. I am just a country girl trying to find my way in this big old world, I am also wanting to find a better job because I am not happy where I work now. We have activities. If you like the outdoors there is plenty to do. However, not too many places for you to do activities on the inside. The Heart of Appalachia Mountains has many things to do, including visiting museums, exploring the outdoors, and attending events: Museums: Learn about the area's history and heritage at the Harry W. Meador Coal Museum, Historic Crab Orchard and Pioneer Park, Pocahontas Exhibition Mine and Museum, and Southwest, Virginia Museum Historical State Park.



Outdoor activities: Explore the rugged beauty of the region at Burke's Garden, Cumberland Gap National Park, Natural Tunnel State Park, and Breaks Interstate Park. You can also hike part of the Appalachian Trail, go mountain biking, kayaking, or fishing. Now, I will start with a small city in Southwest, Virginia. Well, in Southwest, Virginia it is very hard to find people that are into tickling. Now, I do like living in VA. The only problem, not that much to do in the South. We need more to do in VA. Tickling can be a fun way to pass the time. Now, I am very ticklish everywhere. People love to hear me say that tickles as I am laughing. So I get into a lot of tickle fights lol. Yes, my friends and I love to joke around to pass the time.

Many young professionals live in Wise and residents tend to be very nice.
