What was the worst thing you ever cooked?

Although I’m a very decent home cook, I’ve made more than a few sub-par meals. The very worst I ever cooked was a carrot soup. Should have been pretty easy. I don’t remember exactly what went into the soup, other than an entire bag of carrots. Blended, it tasted remarkably similar to a carrot-flavored marinara. Even my husband, who will eat horrific things, couldn’t stomach it, and of course, I’d made a giant volume. Now anytime I make a mediocre meal, my boyfriend reminds me that it’s still better than that’s carrot soup.
