Moving to an area smaller than where I am used to will take time getting used to it.

Determine who goes first. Each player rolls a single die, and the player with the higher number goes first. If both players roll the same number, they roll again until they get different numbers. Take turns rolling the dice. After the first roll, players take turns rolling two dice at the start of each turn. Move your checkers. The numbers on the dice indicate how many points, or pips, you can move your checkers. Checkers always move forward, to a lower-numbered point. Bear off your checkers. To bear off a checker, roll a number that matches the point where the checker is located, and then remove the checker from the board. If you don't have a checker on the rolled point, you must move a checker from a higher-numbered point. Win the game. The first player to bear off all their checkers wins the game.
