Magic has captivated and enthralled people for over 2,500 years. The first recorded magic act was by the magician Dedi who performed his tricks in Ancient Egypt in 2,700 B.C. He is credited with the first cups and balls magic trick. The answer is always no. There's no upper age limit to learning magic. In many ways, you have several advantages not being a kid. Let's get into the benefits being older brings when you want to learn how to do magic. 1-2-3 Magic is a group format discipline program for parents of children approximately 2-12 years of age. The program can be used with average or special needs children. Younger children (aged 4–8 years), compared to older ones, will show more magical beliefs when explaining the trick (see Phelps and Woolley, 1994). There is nothing paranormal or supernatural about magic tricks—magicians achieve illusions through practiced deception.
